DEPARTMENT OF FINANCIAL INFORMATICS AND STATISTICS (DFIS)
The Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics, an organ of the Ministry of Finance, performs the function of an advisory agency that assists the Minister of Finance in governance and financial informatics and statistics.
The Department of Financial Informatics and Statistics is a legal entity that is eligible to have its own seal and open an account in the State Treasury and banks as prescribed in the law of Vietnam
NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR FINANCE (NIF)
National Institute For Finance was established in 2010, an organ of the Ministry of Finance, performs the function of research, building strategies and financial policies, conducting basic scientific research and applications in financial sector, making analysis, forecasting, organizing and managing scientific research activities in the financial sector.
The Institute has 40 officers in which it includes 6 PhDs, 13 Masters and 19 Bachelor Graduates.
The Institute is a legal entity that is eligible to have its own seal and open an account in the State Treasury and banks as prescribed in the law of Vietnam. Its fund is guaranteed by State Bank of Vietnam prescribed for basic scientific research organization. The Institute works based on autonomy mechanism and is self-responsible for the Organization structure, Finance and assigned tasks.
